ABLE Act Training

We’re partnering with Creating Opportunities to talk about all things ABLE. We’ll discuss how this state-run program works, what expenses you can save for, how benefits are protected and how ABLE can help empower your child to be independent and financially secure.

Presentation goes from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 124 SW Walnut Ave Suite A Dallas OR 97338.

This training is open to anyone in the disability community and their families. Please register at http://www.creatingops.org/events/631/able-act-training/ so we can get a head count. Come as long as you’re able to. You won’t hurt our feelings if you have to leave early.

College and Disability Savings 101

Join us at the Oregon Zoo for College and Disability Savings 101 on March 18th. Learn about saving for college from the Oregon College Savings Plan. Then, find out how people with disabilities and their families can take full advantage of the benefits of the recently-launched Oregon ABLE Savings Plan, designed to allow people to save more while keeping their federal and state benefits.

A light breakfast will be served and we’ll be giving away tickets for the Oregon Zoo! Event is free. No RSVP required.
